Research
in boreal forest history, mainly
logging history, stand structure
changes, forest landscape changes,
pre-industrial use of forest resources
including Sami and agricultural use of
the forest. Research cooperation with
forest historians in Europe and north
America. Will be guest researcher in
Montana, USA in the fall of
2000.
Teaching:
Teaches
forest history at graduate and
undergraduate level at the Swedish Univ
of Agricultural Sciences. Responsible
for course in forest history (10 weeks
yearly). Supervises two PhD-students in
forest history.
